Freddie Mac's Minimum System Requirements

One of the first steps to ensure that you get the most out of the technology solutions we offer is to review the hardware and software currently used within your organization and its compatibility with Freddie Mac's technology tools.

Below are the minimum system requirements for the majority of our tools:

• Internet connection
• Browser - We recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer® for use with Freddie Mac's web-based applications. Find more technical specifications for Internet Explorer on Microsoft.com.
• The latest Microsoft Windows® operating system

• We recommend Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 for use with the selling system.

MIDANET®

To communicate with MIDANET it is important to have a compatible modem. Here is a list of the modems that our customers have found to be the most compatible:

• Hayes™ Accura™ - External modems with speeds of 14.4K, 28.8K, 33.6K
• USRobotics® - External modems with speeds of 14.4K, 28.8K, 33.6K, 56K
• USRobotics - Internal modems with speeds of 14.4K, 28.8K, 33.6K

Note: These modems may not work with every PC.
