FREDDIE MAC ANNOUNCES REFERENCE REMIC® SECURITY ISSUE

McLean, VA – Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE) today announced its intention to issue its next Reference REMIC® security. The company expects to offer $1.265 billion of Reference REMIC Series R013, a Guaranteed Maturity Class (GMC) with a final maturity date of December 15, 2021. Reference REMIC Series R013 is expected to price on June 21, 2007, and settle on June 26, 2007.

Citigroup Global Markets, Inc., Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan Chase will serve as the lead underwriters for Reference REMIC R013. Co-managers of the transaction will be Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc., Morgan Stanley and UBS Investment Bank. The transaction will also involve a selling group.
